Narrative Podcast: Scripting, SFX, Music Composition

This example is from a 6-episode narrative podcast CSIS will be launching in the fall of 2024. I worked on all aspects of the process: from pre-production scripting with the program to ensure the episodes were written for audio, to writing the background music / theme music, and implementing immersive sound design into the episode.

Original Clip: 0:00-9:01 | Edited Clip: 9:02-15:00
I edited a 9-minute section of a podcast down to 6 minutes by removing uhms, uhs, ya knows, stutters, and other verbal fillers of that nature. ​This audio is also mixed to commercial standards.

​I serve on the production team with the iDeas Lab, where I record, edit and mix podcasts for CSIS.

Recognized by the New York Times as "a crash course you can get delivered right to your ears", I served as the Producer for the "Breaking Bloody" Series, where Modern Bar Cart takes a granular deep dive into the creation of the Bloody Mary cocktail. 

​I also served as the Editor and Sound Designer for most episodes in this series as well.
